After 7 years away, Gorillaz made a dazzling return in 2017 with Humanz, a technicolour epic pulsating with the anarchic sonic diversity of a mixtape featuring a galaxy of guest stars including: Danny Brown, Benjamin Clementine, De La Soul,Peven Everett, Anthony Hamilton, Grace Jones, Zebra Katz, Kelela, Mavis Staples, Vince Staples, Pusha T and Jamie Principle.

The fifth studio album from Gorillaz, Humanz reached #1 and #2 in the U.S. and U.K. charts respectively, topping the iTunes charts in over 60 countries and saw Stoke City supporter Murdoc Niccals and bandmates Russel Hobbs, Noodle and 2D collect their first BRIT Award for Best British Group the following year.
